Angela & Dave’s August wedding at The Palm House

What an amazing summer we’re having here in Brooklyn– it’s been my pleasure to shoot several weddings in this beautiful weather at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens’ lovely venue The Pal m House and I feel *so* lucky to have shot this one! Angela & Dave are just the most sweet, fun, down to earth couple– and after seeing their families in action I can see where they get it from! Most importantly, they’re perfect for each other (and it shows!)… I got to shoot their rehearsal dinner the night before at the wonderful Frankie’s Spuntino in Brooklyn– followed by an after-party at 61 Local with even more friends and family in attendance! On the morning of her wedding Angela and the women she’s close to enjoyed some relaxing yoga together and went to get prepared for the big day at Brooklyn’s Parlor Salon. I met them there to capture the tail end of this process while my 2nd shooter Ryan was with Dave at their apartment. We convened for their first look and portraits (always nice to get these taken care of before the ceremony so the couple can go celebrate with friends and family after the ceremony) over in the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. After a very beautiful ceremony performed by the fantastic Lissa Gundlach we headed to a lovely cocktail hour on the terrace, followed by a wonderful evening reception indoors. It couldn’t have been a more beautiful day for this sweet couple and their families to come together and celebrate love. Congratulations to Angela & Dave!
