Shannon & Pat’s Brooklyn engagement session: Smith Street to the Promenade

Shannon & Pat are getting married this coming September up at the Roundhouse at Beacon Falls, where I had the pleasure of shooting Johanna & Greg’s wedding this past November! I was thrilled to book another wedding up at this beautiful venue and am even more excited after hanging out with Shannon and Pat during their cute engagement session down around their neighborhood in Brooklyn. I’d been to Smith Street before of course, it’s famous for being a restaurant row of sorts, and my husband works at a school not too far from there, but I’d never shot a session in this area before and I have to say it was a blast! So much color and texture to work with (and that’s what I look for during a session) I could have gone on for hours… but we definitely wanted to hit the Promenade around sunset and we made our way to the water at just the right time.
