Emily & Adam’s Engagement Portraits in Fort Greene

Emily & Adam are getting married at Hempstead House at Sands Point Preserve at the end of May next year and I am so excited to shoot their wedding at this beautiful and unique mansion by the shore! For their engagement portraits we planned a shoot that would capture them in the neighborhood they live in, Fort Greene in Brooklyn, whenever couples are into shooting around their apartments I suggest this– it will be such a nice way to remember this time in their lives together and where they lived, what NYC was like for them when they were young, etc. I met them at their place and we started with a few cute shots of them in their lovely apartment and on the balcony with their barbeque grill and the view of the rooftops beyond. We walked around the blocks to either side of theirs and hit Fort Greene Park to get some greenery in the photos as well. Check out my favorites from the shoot!
