Engagement portraits in Central Park: Rachel & Scott

Rachel & Scott are getting married at Lyndhurst Mansion, a small historic castle with amazing grounds in Westchester, this summer!  For their engagement portraits they chose Central Park, one of my favorite spots to shoot.  We couldn’t have picked a better day for it, as the weather was incredible!  Of course the park was full of other people excited to enjoy the springing of spring, but with a little patience in the populated areas we were able to get sweet shots of this couple in a bunch of iconic locations, like the Bow Bridge, Bethesda Fountain, and the Mall. Rachel had a beautiful floral head wreath that matched a pink top and as it turned out, also looked amazing with the cherry blossoms that were blooming all over the park, so we got a bunch of shots with that too.  And I especially love this shot of them laying on a blue picnic blanket they brought with them.  Check out my favorites from the shoot and come back in the summer to see their wedding at Lyndhurst!
