Baby Anna's first Portraits

Little Anna suprised her parents and was born a few weeks before her due date… we shot her portraits on the weekend she was actually due, so she’s still nice and tiny! Check out that yawn, so sweet…

I can’t get enough of these expressions… look at her little body scrunching up as she starts to cry in the last shot here… i find this really really cute.  Maybe i’m the only one who likes this but somehow the uncontrollable emotions of a baby are fascinating to photograph.  Their expressions change SO fast and they can go from zero to 60 in terms of crying in 2 seconds… their bodies can turn red almost instantaneously sometimes as they start to cry.  It’s pretty unbeleivable.  Anyway I was very pleased with this series, I hope David and Elizabeth love the portraits we made!  They were great to work with and hopefully we’ll see some more of baby Anna as she gets older!
