Bridal Collection Shoot for Artikal, NYC

This weekend I had the pleasure of shooting the talented Holly Slayton’s new collection of bridal headpieces. Her line, Artikal, will be featured at the world-reknowned Kleinfeld store this season so they needed a set of images for the website. She’s one of the leading designers of modern birdcage veils and other high-fashion pieces. I love her fascinators– the feathers, the felt, the silk flowers, they’re all so beautiful! (I will most definately be wearing something by her at my wedding this September! I’m overwhelmed by the number of fabulous pieces to choose from, and I haven’t even been to her studio for an appointment yet…) It was cold outside so we shot in the studio with three models, makeup artist Stephanie Joyce and hair stylist Liane DeStefano, and of course Holly was there to place her headpieces… what a great team!
