Carrie & Brian’s Engagement Portraits in the West Village

Carrie and Brian are to be wed this coming September up Greenwich, CT, at the same venue where I so enjoyed shooting Devin & Mike’s wedding (check it out, they were featured recently on Junebug Weddings!) last fall. We did a session that would capture them in their neighborhood of the West Village here in New York City. Our adventure included a trip to the windy but beautiful roof as well as a romp over to the High Line (also terribly windy!!!) but mostly we stuck to the street level so as to keep Carrie’s hair from blowing in her face, though you’ll notice when I capture that breeze just at the right moment it looks pretty gorgeous (see the headshots of her in front of ivy covered wall especially!) It was getting fairly chilly towards the end of their walk with me but Carrie was a total trooper in her beautiful blue dress! I couldn’t be more excited about working with these two and I’m thrilled to be shooting up at The Belle Haven Club again. Congrats to Carrie and Brian and happy wedding planning!
