Tracy & Tim are getting married a year from now at The Roundhouse at Beacon Falls, one of my favorite Hudson Valley venues. They both went to, and now teach at the same school in Riverdale, but they grew up in the upper west side– in buildings only a few blocks apart on 86th and 83rd! It was only natural that we should capture them here for their engagement portraits. We started at Tim’s childhood building and moseyed around capturing them with the treelined streets and beautiful stoops, making our way to Tracy’s childhood home. At a few points we shot their feet for a concept Tracy had fora Save the Date card, based on a series of photos that they take of their feet in different locations. I love collaborating on ideas like this with my couples! To conclude our walk we made our way over to Riverside Park and wound down by the water along the greenway. We couldn’t have had nicer weather for this sweet shoot– I had a blast working with this great couple and I can’t wait for the wedding!
