Max & Eleanor’s engagement portraits: Washington Square Park and beyond

Max and Eleanor are to be married in September here in one of our city’s beautiful gardens, followed by a reception at one of my favorite SOHO locations, the Housing Works Bookstore Cafe. They have recently moved to NYC and Eleanor is working at NYU, so naturally a shoot in and around Washington Square Park suited them to a T. I met them by the West 4th subway stop in the West Village, right by IFC, and we walked west and then circled back to walk through the park, then dipped down to an NYU building for an outfit change to get them some variety. Though it was hot out, these two were great sports through the whole shoot. Check out some of my favorites below and stay tuned for the wedding in September!
