Joel had seen my work from a wedding he attended recently and wanted to get some portraits with his wife and baby girl, Audrey since it was right around her first birthday. Erin and Ernie are eagerly awaiting the birth of their first child. They wanted to have some beautiful portraits to remember this time together, and to document Erin’s beautiful form while she is at the peak of pregnancy. They live a little ways out of the city near the shore in New Jersey and suggested we go to a state park not far from their home– promising gorgeous beaches and waves… naturally I was all for it! Tomorrow I’ll shoot Erin in my studio to complement the outdoor session with some more artistic nudes, etc… For now check out my favorites from the beach!
And I couldn’t resist showing you their adorable dog with his head out the window on the way to the beach… priceless.

Julie and Andy wanted me to bring my open-air photobooth setup to their engagement party at Rebar in DUMBO last friday– what a fantastic idea! Their wedding will be a more intimate afternoon event so this party was really where the action was! I brought my mustachios and Julie brought a little selection of funny props, and everyone had a great time taking their own pictures with the wireless remote trigger system, and I love how my ringlight creates a halo of shadow around everyone– it’s the perfect photobooth setup for any party or reception!
