Hosted by the amazing chefs of My Cooking Party in their Broadway loft, Michelle’s bridal shower was tons of fun– especially for me! I loved shooting this group of friendly women as they enjoyed cocktails, prepped ingredients and followed the recipes for the wonderful menu put together by the chef. The smells were so enticing, I was thrilled when I was invited to stay and eat with them… totally delicious! What a great concept for a party![slideshow]
Daphne’s over 7 months pregnant with her baby girl and the time was nigh to create some lovely images of her pregnancy. She and her husband visited me in my studio and my, what a joy to shoot– she looked so amazing. Check out my favorites — shown with her permission of course!

Enoch Woodhouse, president of Harvard Black Alumni Society of NY, contacted me recently to shoot another education panel event– this one featuring Colin Powell! Here are some highlights. Also on the panel were several noteworthy figures in education reform.

A while back I posted an author portraits shoot I did for my friend, the writer Teddy Wayne… well his first novel Kapitoil just came out and it has been receiving serious critical acclaim and media attention… I’m so thrilled for him and I just finished reading it myself the other night (I stayed up late reading a book on the couch, something I don’t do enough!) and I highly recommend it! I took some pictures of him at his very first official book-tour reading and hopped up to get in line and have him sign my book right after it was over. I asked him how many books he’d signed so far and he said it would be the 5th one, and he wrote ‘5th book signed!’ over his signature.
