Luke and Anna were married last Saturday, August 15th on the beautiful grounds of the Winthrop Estate in Lenox, Massachussetts. We headed over to nearby Tanglewood for portraits before the ceremony, and then later I was able to whisk them away for some couple portraits around the Estate nearing sunset. What an amazing location– I highly recommend it. The mansion’s rooms are incredible, the catering and service was top knotch, and did I mention the grounds are beautiful? Oh, yes they are… here’s a sneak peak of Luke and Anna– slideshow to come. For guests of the wedding, online gallery will be up in another hour or two, it’s very slow loading today for some reason 🙂

Rachel was at Ben and Lindsay’s wedding in June and was so taken with their guest book of images that she contacted me about shooting some portraits and making a guestbook for her upcoming October wedding in Pennsylvania. I was very pleased to work with such a fun couple- we explored the area in the northeastern region of the park and just made it down to the Bethesda Fountain area before it got too dark to keep shooting. Check out this first shot: A butterfly landed on Chris’ shoulder just as I was about to pose them in a spot we had found– I started snapping and got about 7 frames before it flew away. It was a magical moment.
These are awesome Sarah. Some of them look like they’re in a primordial forest, as opposed to, say, Manhattan.
