Sarah,
You certainly have your mom’s eye for photography! Great shots, they picked the best photographer in all of NYC. When it becomes legal for us here in New York to get married (hopefully sometime next year) we’re calling in the entire Tew clan for our pictures (well maybe not your Dad 😉 ). Job well done.

Speechless …. I’m weeping all over again! Sarah, you captured the heartfelt feelings that were exuding from everyone that gorgeous evening. Maura and Bash – happy much?! You two are an inspiration and proof that true love is alive and well among all of us. You are so beautiful — beginning from the inside and shining strong and bright to everyone’s lives you touch. I love you both so very much. So very very much. ♥ ♥
Maura and Basha had their official NYC wedding celebration last Saturday, July 18th, at the Seamen’s Church Institute by South Street Seaport. Having been officially married in a private ceremony on Nantucket a little while ago this was their opportunity to renew their vows publicly in front of gathered friends and family. I was so pleased to be a part of their big day– it was truly moving and wonderful to be there, we got some really sweet shots of these two before the ceremony around in the surrounding blocks. My favorite moment was when a couple of passersby started cheering and hollering ‘you go girl’ as I was posing them for a sweet portrait with them kissing in the street… it was a beautiful reaction. The next best moment was after all the great toasting the friends presented a honeymoon vacation package they had put together and paid for… this was a day full of happy tears. If you saw their engagement portraits in my earlier post, you know these two women are absolutely adorably in love… Congratulations, Maura and Basha!
Beautiful pictures, they truly captured the magic of the evening!
Incredible photos of an amazing wedding – I could not be more impressed with the quality of these images! Congrats to the happy couple!

Wedding in St. Paul… just watch. I got all teary at the spirit of this processional, it’s a must-watch thing, otherwise i wouldn’t post it here… trust me. Would have LOVED to shoot a wedding like this. It saddens me that their photographer seems so stiff and uninspired (he’s standing in the mid-aisle after they’ve passed him you’ll see. Hopefully he got a few good shots anyway.
