Cynthia & Andi live in California, so when they booked me we traded out the typical engagement session I include in my foundation collection in exchange for me to bring my open-air photobooth to their wedding. I was able to meet with them on their planning trip to New Jersey, where Cynthia’s folks live and where they were to be wed this summer. It didn’t take much for me to gather that this couple is totally in love– they are really sweet together and I was so excited to see them again at the wedding. I was moved to tears by Cynthia’s vows– they wrote them of course, and couldn’t have done a better job. I loved hearing the toasts from the parents– especially Andi’s father, who came all the way from Indonesia for the occasion, and had Andi’s brother translate for him as he delivered some very good advice for a strong marriage, which he likened to a sailboat that inevitably encounters rough winds at various points along it’s journey. The band at the reception got the crowd up on their feet, and everyone had fun playing with the props the couple provided for my photobooth, especially the two ringbearers, who were cracking me up all night and getting pretty funky on the dance floor. Thanks go out to Zack & Nick for their excellent 2nd shooting and asisstance. Congratulations, Cynthia & Andi, may you enjoy every happiness!
